Leading FMCG company GCPL (Godrej Consumer Products Ltd) is making huge strives in making their workforce more diverse and inclusive. GCPL is making its operations more inclusive through affirmative stances on LGBTQ rights, gender equality, and making hiring more diverse.

GCPL Chairperson & Managing Director Nisaba Godrej aims a ‘concerted shift’ into the hiring process and increases the participation of women and gender minorities in leadership and other strategic roles. Addressing shareholders in Annual Report 2020-21, Ms Godrej has said advocacy efforts are translated into hiring trends at GCPL. GCPL already boasts of very diverse board members, of which about 45.25% consist of women. Nisaba Godrej intends to increase it further.
