Amazon UK is now offering a bonus of 50 pounds a week for those employees who show up to work on time for all their shifts and also maintain 100% attendance. However sick leave due to Covid-19 or any time off due to some serious illness will be excluded. This incentive is being offered so that the Amazon warehouses meet the inevitable surge in demand during the Christmas season. Last week the digital retail giant advertised a 1000 pound as a joining bonus for new warehouse workers. Labor has been experiencing some serious setbacks in Britain due to the pandemic and the resulting furlough scheme as well as the Brexit. In July for example the number of vacancies touched 9.5 lakhs.
