Meesho has created history by introducing paid gender confirmation leave for employees who are looking to undergo gender affirmation surgery. Under this policy, transgender employees can look forward to about a month of paid leaves.
The e-commerce company which recently reached a valuation of over 1 billion dollars has been on a roll in making its work culture as diverse and inclusive as possible. Employees in same-sex partnerships can now include their partners under insurance coverage. Gender reassignment surgeries will also come under the insurance policy according to Ashish Singh, CHRO of Meesho.

Meesho now joins the likes of IBM, Amazon, Cisco, Accenture etc, which has similar policies.
